Written by Wang Juan (王倦), the drama is a sino-burmese wuxia travelogue road drama. It is loosely based on the true account of Prince Shwenandaw who brought his renowned dance troop for a visit to Tang in AD for the purposes of diplomacy. Through this mission he spread the word about Buddhist scriptures and teachings.
